UPM has expanded its barrier-paper portfolio with Asendo 80, a PFAS-free label face stock designed for food-contact packaging. The new grade brings oil and grease resistance to label applications without relying on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, supporting producers navigating tighter restricted-substance rules. XSYS has published its first group sustainability report following the integration of MacDermid, setting out a carbon-reduction roadmap across the flexographic value chain from plate-making and chemistry to pressroom performance.
